Follow Your Dreams Competition - Squad

WHO: All Squad teams (except Tap Kix & High Kix)

WHERE: Canberra College Performing Arts Theatre (2 Launceston St, Phillip ACT 2606) Parking on site.

WHEN: Saturday 3 October

ARRIVAL TIME: 2.30pm SHARP

FINISH TIME: 6pm

DETAILS:

This set up is new to everyone so please be patient on the day. No parents will be allowed backstage. Only 40 people are allowed in the audience - therefore we will clear the audience at certain times during our performances. Teachers will manage changes with the students.

Please arrive in your first costume with Bom Funk uniform over the top. Hair and makeup COMPLETED. Because we will have had a week off classes, we would like to run all routines at 2.30pm to practice and get the kids focussing and warmed up. This also gives us time to re-space anything should we have someone unable to compete do to sickness/covid. DO NOT COME AT 2.30pm needing assistance – if you need assistance arrange this for earlier in the day.

At 4.30pm teachers will marshal students backstage, parents will go to audience – bring ALL COSTUMES & EMERGANCY DANCE KIT with you backstage.

If allowed, we will film all routines from the audience and give you copies so that parents can watch live and not through a phone screen. Usually NO PHOTOS/VIDEOS are allowed and involves instant disqualification so I will check & keep you posted.
