Bom Funk is doing things differently in 2020 — We are excited to create an End of Year Dance Movie with our classes for our showcase performance! Our dance movie will be filmed over 1 weekend and brought to you as a cinema premier and online download!! Dancers will receive the full performance experience in a theatre as well as the chance to work with professional camera crews to create a memory that’s truly as unique as 2020!
IMPORTANT DATES
PERFORMANCE/FILMING: Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December.
VENUE: Canberra College Performing Arts Centre
CINEMA PREMIER: Sunday 20th December, 2pm. Limelight Cinemas, Tuggeranong.
VIDEO RELEASE/DOWNLOAD: Monday 21st December
REHEARSALS: Students will rehearse in classes in the lead up to the performance weekend. Blocking and tech rehearsals will be held within the allocated hour of filming each routine.
FILMING SCHEDULE: Full schedule released at the start of Term 4. Proposed filming days (subject to change):

All Dance Kingdom Tots classes (Baby Bees/Dragonfly Dance/Ballet Bunnies/Rhythm Rhinos/ Hiphop-o-potamus + 1 parent/carer)

Each class will be allocated a 1hr time block to be at the theatre to rehearse, film, and be photographed.
If your child is in multiple classes, they will be allocated a 1hr time block for every class they attend.
SCREENING DETAILS:
Our Dance Movie will premiere at the cinemas - 2:00pm on Sunday 20 December, Limelight Cinemas, Tuggeranong ~ Limited tickets due to social distancing requirements.
The Showcase Download will be available from 21st December - details will be provided closer to the date.
