Open Day 2025

For all our new, prospective and returning families, Bom Funk Dance Studio will again be holding Open Days at our Jerrabomberra studios & Queanbeyan studios to help you select your favourite classes for 2025! 

Come down to our Qbn studio and meet our teachers, see our beautiful studio spaces and take some free taster classes! Each dance session will sample approximately a 25min taste of the style and a 5min Q&A with the class teacher at the end. Questions can also be directed to our Admin team on site before or after the lesson. 

All dancers are required to register here so we can manage attendance numbers.

Open Day Timetable for QUEANBEYAN:

Each taster class runs for 25-30min finishing with a short Q&A with the teacher. Please address any further questions after each session with our administration team so that teachers can move to their next class.

For class age groups or styles not available to try at Open day, please register for a free trial during week 1, 2025 (Timetable released in December).

Teachers subject to change. Students must register to attend Open Day taster classes to be allowed entry (form below). Paper forms will also be available.

STUDIO 1 (ACRO/CHEER STUDIO)

10am: Tumble Tigers (Preschool/Kindy)

10.30am: Acro (Level recommendations) (Primary school ages)

11am: Cheer (Primary )

11.30am: Cheer Pom Pandas (Preschool/Kindy)

12pm: Jazz (primary school ages)

12.30pm: JFH (primary school ages)

STUDIO 2

10am: Baby Bees (with a parent) (18mths +)

10.30am: Ballet Bunnies (Preschool/Kindy)

11am: Beetle Bop (Preschool/Kindy)

11.30am: Rhythm Rhinos (Preschool/ Kindy)

12pm: Hiphop-o-potamus (Preschool/Kindy)

12.30pm: Ballet (primary school ages)

STUDIO 3

10am: CIRCUS (primary school ages)

10.30am: Contemporary (primary school ages)

11am: Boys only - Hip Hop/ Breakdance (primary school ages)11.30am: Aerial (Primary years 1-3)

12pm: Aerial (Primary years 3-6) - FULL

12.30pm: Aerial (Seniors/Adults)

STUDIO 4 (Theatrette)

11am: Tap (Primary school ages)

11.30am: Hip Hop (Primary school ages)

12pm - 12.30pm: PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE: Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap or Hip Hop

12.30pm-1pm: HIGH SCHOOL AGE: Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap or Hip Hop
Please prepare a short 1min routine showcasing your skills in the style or styles you wish to audition for above. We will also assess additional technique if required. 

For Cheer or Acro teams please attend the cheer or acro class on Open day in your age level:
10.30am: Acro (Level recommendations) (Primary school ages)

Acro (Level recommendations) (High school ages +) - please attend the primary time just to audition

11am: Cheer (Primary school ages)
